Associate Alexis Handrich has joined the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association as 2018 Co-Chair. She has been an lively chief in the group for 9 years.
Ms. Handrichs’ first function with the Philadelphia Bar Association was crafting updates that impacted employees’ compensation regulation as Legislative Liaison to the Executive Committee. She joined the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and helped launch an initiative aimed toward Philadelphia college students in the authorized career. Through this system, eight middle- and highschool-aged college students have acquired scholarships and carried out clerkships for outstanding judges over the previous two years.
Ms. Handrich additionally served on the Arts in the Court Committee, and helped fee an area artist to finish eight massive work depicting varied icons of Philadelphia business and commerce. The works illustrate the significance of labor in Philadelphia’s historical past, and will be seen hanging on the Philadelphia Workers’ Compensation Office of Adjudication.
